Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani made numerous claims throughout his life that defied logic and rationality. Initially, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani denied being Jesus:
“I am not Jesus, nor do I have any connection with him.” (Izala Auham, Page 586)
However, he later proclaimed:
“I am the Promised Messiah, the second coming of Jesus Christ.” (Tazkira, Page 300)
When challenged about how he, a man from India, could be the return of Jesus, he resorted to highly illogical explanations.

The Bizarre Pregnancy and Birth Claim
To justify his claim that he was both Jesus and the Mahdi, Mirza Qadiani wrote in Kashti-e-Nooh (Page 47):
“I became pregnant through divine inspiration and, after experiencing the pains of labor, I gave birth to myself as the Messiah.”
This absurd claim, rather than resolving the contradiction, created an even greater theological and logical paradox. No prophet in Islamic history has ever made such a claim, nor does any Islamic doctrine support the idea of a man metaphorically giving birth to himself.

Claiming to be Maryam (Mary) Before Becoming Jesus
In another irrational explanation, he claimed that he first transformed into Maryam (Mary), the mother of Jesus, before becoming Jesus himself. In Arba’een (Page 81), he wrote:
“God first made me Maryam, and for two years I remained in this condition. Then, the soul of Jesus was breathed into me, and in this way, I became pregnant with the spirit of Jesus. After a few months, through metaphorical pain, I gave birth to myself, and thus I became Jesus, the son of Mary.”
This assertion not only contradicts fundamental Islamic beliefs but also defies logic, human biology, and any coherent understanding of prophethood.

Claim That Jesus Died in Kashmir and Mirza Qadiani Was His Successor
Mirza Qadiani further complicated his messianic claims by proposing that Jesus did not ascend to heaven but instead died in Kashmir. He wrote in Masih Hindustan Mein (Page 72):
“Jesus did not ascend to the heavens but traveled to Kashmir, where he died and is buried. I am his spiritual continuation.”
This claim contradicts Islamic teachings and has been dismissed by scholars as baseless. His desperate attempts to provide historical justification for his claims only created more contradictions.

Rewriting Islamic Eschatology to Fit His Narrative
Since Islamic tradition holds that Jesus will return in the latter days as a sign of the final hour, Mirza Qadiani had to alter established Islamic beliefs to justify his own claim. In Tadhkirah (Page 442), he argued:
“The true meaning of Jesus’ return is not his physical descent but rather the coming of someone in his likeness, which is me.”
However, this contradicted his earlier statements where he said he was the literal Jesus Christ reborn.

Contradiction Between His Claims of Prophethood and Messiahship
At times, Mirza Qadiani claimed he was merely the Messiah and not a prophet. Yet in Haqiqat-ul-Wahi (Page 28), he declared:
“I am both the Messiah and a prophet.”
This led to theological confusion among his followers, as he switched between roles depending on the situation.
